The Pálosi Cellar has been producing wines since 2001, but viticulture and winemaking have deeper roots in the family. The owner is a third generation winemaker and takes his profession very seriously. The cellar, now 120 years old, is a continuation of the family tradition.
Each generation has its own ideas and individuality, and this is reflected in the products they produce. The love for viticulture creates a bond between the owner and the vines. It is an inexplicable bond. Each of these varieties is the result of well-planned, thoughtful planting, but perhaps the name "Birtok" which means estate is no coincidence for the Rhine Riesling, but also for Laura's rosé wine and the Levi's spicy Cserszegi. A new addition to the range is the Cabernet Franc siller 2024 and the opening of the wine terrace, a cellar tasting room, which will offer the opportunity to organise various events. The owner's priority is to produce quality products, as for him this profession is now a serious hobby in addition to his main job.
His credo: "I market wine that I would drink myself."
