The BADACSONYI TOURIST AND WINE ROUTE ASSOCIATION treats the personal data of registered visitors confidentially, in accordance with the legal provisions in force. If there are any changes to our policy on the processing of personal data, we will inform our users in advance by email.

Policy on the processing of personal data

Whatever format we keep the data in, we keep it secure. Our servers are protected, we comply with all security requirements arising from the technology, and we keep data on paper in accordance with the general rules of case management. Information generated during the registration process is treated with the utmost care, is strictly confidential, is not accessible to unauthorised persons and is not disclosed to third parties. The BADACSONYI TOURIST AND WINE ROUTE ASSOCIATION undertakes not to impose any sanctions on any user who refuses to provide the optional information.

Before collecting and processing any of our users' data, we will publish a clear notice informing them of the method, purpose and principles of collection. If the collection and processing of data is not required by law, we will inform the user that the data is voluntary and inform him or her of the purposes of the processing and who will process the data. In all cases where we intend to use the data for purposes other than those for which they were originally collected, we will inform the user and obtain their prior consent or give them the opportunity to opt-out.

Concepts relating to personal data

Personal data

Data that can be associated with a specific natural person, an inference that can be drawn from the data concerning the data subject. Personal data retains this quality during processing as long as its link with the data subject can be re-established.

Alteration, Erasure of Personal Data

The BADACSONYI TOURIST AND WINE ROUTE ASSOCIATION ensures that users can access, correct and complete their own personal data. If our customers request that their personal data be deleted from our system, we will do so without delay.

Data Management

The collection, storage, processing, deletion and any use of personal data, regardless of the procedure. Processing also includes the alteration of data and the prevention of their further use.

Processing of Data

The performance of processing operations, technical tasks, irrespective of the method and means used to perform the operations and the place of application.

Principles of Data Management

Personal data may be processed only if the data subject consents or if required by law or local government regulation. A law may order the disclosure of personal data in the public interest, by expressly indicating the scope of the data. In all other cases, disclosure requires the consent of the data subject, or in the case of special categories of data, written consent. In case of doubt, it shall be presumed that the data subject has not given his or her consent.

The provisions relating to the processing and protection of visitors' personal data apply only to natural persons, given that personal data can also be interpreted only in relation to natural persons (pursuant to Article 2(1) of Act 63 of 1992 on the Protection of Personal Data and the Disclosure of Information of Public Interest), and therefore this statement is binding only in relation to the processing of personal data of natural persons.

In drawing up the principles, we have taken into account the provisions of Act 63 of 1992 on the Protection of Personal Data and the Disclosure of Data of Public Interest and Act 6 of 1998 on the Protection of Individuals with regard to Automatic Processing of Personal Data.

If our users have any questions that are not clear from this notice, please write to us and our colleague will answer your question.
