Tóti Hill is part of the Balaton Uplands National Park, the little brother of Gulács: they stand side by side between Badacsony and Csobánc. The shape of the two mountains looks exactly the same from Lake Balaton, but Tóti does not reach as high as Gulács. It is the oldest volcanic formation in the Tapolca basin, a hornfill that has been eroded from the overlying sediment over time and can now be admired in the open. The southern part is steeper, the northern side has a gentle slope, and the side of the hill is home to vineyards that produce fine wines.

Perhaps the most beautiful panorama is offered by climbing the 346-metre-high basanitic volcanic formation. You'll be rewarded with 360-degree panoramic views. Lake Pannon had already receded when the volcanic activity began in this area 5.7 million years ago. However, the magma did not push to the surface, because Tóti is a hornfill, which was prepared over time by external forces from the Pannonian sediment, effectively an erosional remnant. The peak covers an area of a few square metres, and it has two summits! Its diverse geological and microclimatic conditions have given rise to biodiversity, the mountain's plant communities are varied and its habitats diverse. The western and south-eastern slopes of the Hegymög are the scene of viticulture dating back to the Celtic period, but there are also press houses on the eastern side below the summit.
