The Sabar Hill, with its 217 metres altitude, is one of the smallest of the Balaton Uplands region. It can be found just next to Káptalantóti, on the border of the Káli Basin, but its land offers a promising vineyard. The special flavour of the wines made from the grapes grown here is the result of the combination of the soil formed on former volcanoes and the special sub-Mediterranean microclimate, rich in sunshine. The ruins of the 13th century church are hidden in the side of the hill. The ruins on Mount Sabar were the centre of the former settlement of Felsőtóti. Felsőtótti was last mentioned in 1600 and was destroyed in the Turkish period. The church was probably abandoned at the same time. Only the church of Alsótóti was rebuilt after the Turkish raids were over, and Felsőtóti was abandoned.
