Ecotourism Visitor Centre

Learn about the wildlife, geology and cultural history of the Badacsony area in two exhibition halls with interactive elements! Find out more about basalt volcanism and the secrets of mining's past on our guided tours! Playfully explore the coastal reed beds with our kayaks and canoes!

The visitor centre presents Lake Balaton and Badacsony. The facility is open all year round and offers visitors the chance to discover the natural treasures of the area. In the presentation rooms, audiovisual equipment, films, text and visual documents and exhibits complete the experience. Visitors can go on a tour on land or on water. They can also enjoy a pleasant stay on the beach. In summer, the Visitor Centre offers canoes for hire on the lake for those who are more adventurous, and can also offer land-based hiking as well as beach activities.
