The Von Beőthy Cellar started operating again in 1998, the continuation of the centuries-old winemaking traditions of the Beőthy family was interrupted only by the era of producer cooperatives. After the restart, on 3.5 hectares, at an altitude of 250 meters, in a real mountain winery in the Badacsonyi wine region.

n 2010, at the VinCe international wine exhibition, our Pinot noir 2007 vintage won the title of Best Wine of the Exhibition, which was followed by numerous other domestic and international awards. We are founding members of Terra Hungarica and in 2015 our winemaker, János Beőthy, won the "Par Excellence" award founded by the Hungarian Sommelier Association for his outstanding work in the field of Hungarian gastronomy and Hungarian winemaking. Several of our wines have been included in the National Wine Excellence Book. Most of our wines are consumed in top gastronomy, so they can be found in all Hungarian Michelin-starred and other famous restaurants (Onyx, Costes, Borkonyha, Tom George, Szalon restaurant, Fricska Gastropub, etc.). Our wines can also be found in well-known wine shops.
