One of the main destinations for a holiday in Ábrahámhegy is the renovated central beach, with many sunbathing areas, new paving and toilets, and grassed areas. Here the water gradually deepens, making it safe for children to swim, while active holidaymakers can choose from a variety of sports activities. The beach is sandy for about 20 metres. It is an ideal playground for children, with a sandpit and two playgrounds in a shaded area.
The beach covers an area of 1.1 hectares, with a 160-metre-long stretch of beach and a width of 60-90 metres. The beach has a capacity of 1060 people. In front of the beach there is a free parking lot with 200 cars, monitored by cameras.
The area is covered with well-kept lawns with many open areas, but there are also plenty of shade trees. A safe play area for children was created a few years ago on one part of the beach.
Opening hours: 3 June - 31 August : 8 am to 7 pm
Before opening hours (from 6 am to 8 am) and after (from 7 pm to 11 pm) the beach is a free to enter. Guests may use the beach after opening hours only at their own risk. From 11 pm to 6 am, the beach is closed.
