József Egry is also called the painter of Lake Balaton. The main theme of his paintings and pastels is the spectacular view of Lake Balaton, the changing light and color conditions of the lake. His art is a solitary phenomenon, and he is not related to anyone. The transformed and enlarged studio apartment house in Badacsony has a rich selection of his main works, but it is a sign of his entire life.
