One of the most beautiful traditions of our region is the Badacsony Harvest Festival, which will take place for the 60th time in 2024!

The first televised Badacsony Harvest was held in 1964 and since then it has been important to celebrate the "fruit" of the work of local wine-growers and vine-growers. During the two days, the main attraction on Sunday, besides the harvest parade, we will also welcome wine lovers with other cultural activities on the event stage in Badacsony.

The Badacsony Harvest is the most impressive autumn event in the wine region and a fitting end to the tourist season.

Guests can taste the characterful wines of local wine producers and watch the longest harvest parade in the country.

The parade will start on Sunday 8 September at 10 am from Badacsonytomaj and will follow the main road No 71 between Badacsonytomaj and Badacsony. Representatives of the surrounding villages, folk dance groups, legionaries, Hungarian wine guilds, kopjes, hussars and flag-wavers, fire jugglers, cavalry troops, brass bands will make up the colourful procession.

Come and celebrate this year's harvest together with the local grape-growing and wine-producing people!
