The hike to Gulács starts in Nemesgulács, where hikers should follow the Z trail. This route leads along the old mine, up the slope of the hill, and on the eastern side joins the K▲ trail. Following these markers, you reach the summit of the hill, which is 2.9 km long with an elevation gain of 260 meters, and can be comfortably completed in 1.5–2 hours. Along the well-marked trails, you can enjoy stunning panoramic views of Lake Balaton, the surrounding hills, and Badacsony Hill. Along the way, you’ll also learn about the local flora and fauna and the volcanic history of the region. The trailhead is easily accessible by car or public transport, with parking available in the village.
