Kisfaludy Lookout Tower stands on one of the highest points of Badacsony, rising 18 meters above the 438-meter-high mountain and offering a stunning panoramic view. The hike to the tower is easy and manageable, even if you only have a few hours to spend in Badacsony.

The hike begins at Rózsakő, which is accessible from the shores of Lake Balaton via Kisfaludy Road. At the top of the road, take the trail to the right of Rózsakő — a memorial stone dedicated to Rózsa Szegedy — and follow the blue triangle trail marker. This path leads up the mountain, passing the Páholy Lookout Point on the way.

At the top, Kisfaludy Lookout Tower rewards hikers with breathtaking views: the shimmering Lake Balaton and the surrounding hills of the Tapolca Basin offer a spectacular sight in every season.
