House of Dragons Guesthouse

Our guesthouse, Sárkányok Háza ("House of Dragons"), is located on the slopes of Szent György Hill, on the edge of the Káli Basin, just 7 km from Lake Balaton.

It sits in a peaceful, nature-close setting amidst the vineyard-covered hillside. If you're not drawn to the bustling lakeside areas and prefer hiking, a natural environment, and wide open spaces with no close neighbors or fences, this could be the ideal choice. The house offers views over the Tapolca Basin, and you can even see the famous basalt organ pipes. The accommodation is directly below the basalt columns of Szent György Hill and can be reached via the red hiking trail. A bike path is just 500 meters away, from where it's a 4 km ride to the center of Tapolca and 7 km to Szigliget. From sunrise to sunset, you can enjoy the stunning views of Csobánc Hill and the Tapolca Basin.

The completely renovated, high-quality guest house is located next to a wine press house. The apartment is fully equipped with everything you need, has its own terrace, and offers barbecue and cycling opportunities for those looking to relax. It can be reached from road 7318, 600 m along a dirt road from the Mogyorós-hegy bus stop. There is a bike path near the guest house, and bikes are available for rent. There are also opportunities for excursions from the accommodation, with the shores of Lake Balaton, the Balaton Uplands, the Káli Basin and the Tanú Mountains all within a few minutes' reach in every direction, offering countless natural beauties and gastronomic experiences.
