The Badacsonyi Céh Tourist Association (from 2022 the Badacsony Tourist and Wine Association) was established on March 1, 2007 with the complete transformation of the Badacsonyi Céh Tourist and Interest Protection Association.
The working organization of the association is the Tourinform office in Badacsony. The president of the association is Zoltán Illés.

We currently have nearly 200 members from 4 settlements (Badacsonytomaj, Badacsonytördemic, Szigliget, Ábrahámhegy). The reason for the transformation was the development of the TDM (Tourist Destination Management) model appearing in the Development Plan of the Balaton Region, of which our organization is a micro-regional actor. Its goal is the realization of tourism development in the region based on the partnership of the private and public sectors and common interests. In order to achieve this goal, the Association operates a tourist information office, coordinates and supports the activities of businesses, service providers and the local government interested in tourism, as well as represents their interests, conducts professional advisory activities and cooperates with professional organizations, develops the marketing of the settlement and the region with the broad involvement of the stakeholders conveys its strategy, tourist services, and initiates tourism developments. In addition, it prepares statistics on local tourist services and results and initiates the implementation of events and programs important from a tourist point of view, and its tasks also include the protection and development of the environment of Badacsony and its surroundings.

– Professional professional representation: includes participation in conferences, professional consultation for members.
– Issuing and activating the Badacsony Regional card
– Information service: for guests and service providers online (website, Facebook and offline (information office, exhibitions).
- Members are continuously informed about programs and news in newsletters and emails
– Marketing communication: creation of publications, online publications, publications in printed media at local, regional and national level. Members in our own publications!
- Collecting and communicating programs and events.
- Implementation and communication of own programs.

The most important results of the past years:
- Their membership increased from 65 to over 200
– Successful operation of the TOURINFORM offices in Badacsony and Szigliget
- Collecting the attractions and events of the micro-region into a database
- Operation of the tourist information portal www.badacsony.com
- Publication of a family of publications with a unified image
– Organization of new, season-extending events such as:
Wine wanderings, wine dinners, BORTRIATHLON, St. Martin's Day Vigasság, guided adventure tours, wine tours
- Successful tenders
– Renovation and operation of the Badacsony card system jointly operated with the Municipality of Badacsonytomaj, significant increase in tourism tax revenue
– Organizing the season-opening Badacsony in New York event at the New York Palace in Budapest
